Myth: The Holocaust refers to people of all religions and ethnicities who were killed during World War Two
“Holocaust” is a unique term that refers to the attempted genocide of the Jewish people during the Second World War. Though there were many millions of people senselessly killed during the war, the term “Holocaust” only refers to the murder of the Jews. Hitler’s Nazi Germany had two aims during the war: to conquer Europe […]
Myth: Palestinians and their supporters have the right to rally and protest
There is the right to freedom of speech but not hate speech. Hate speech can easily lead to violence and must be condemned and denounced. Most of these rallies end up supporting and praising the killing of Jews. They create an unsafe environment for Jews everywhere. As an example, on the morning of October 7, […]
Myth: Gaza is an open-air prison
Gaza is controlled entirely by Hamas. In August 2005, Israel withdrew approximately 8,000 settlers from Gaza, and relinquished all control of the territory to the Palestinian Authority (PA). Myth: Israel doesn’t want peace
For almost the entire history of political Zionism, Jewish leaders have sought peace with their Arab neighbours. After the Six […]

Israel is a democracy the same way as Canada, the United States, or any Western European country is a democracy. It was established as such on May 14, 1948, when its Declaration of Independence was signed, extending “complete equality of social and political rights to all of its inhabitants, irrespective of religion, race or sex; […]
Myth: Anti-Zionism isn’t Antisemitism
Antisemitism is an irrational hatred of the Jewish people, for any number of reasons. It is a historic hatred, going back millennia and, is often correctly, referred to as a conspiracy theory, in that the beliefs that underlie it have no basis in reality. Antisemitism is a form of racism, and an Antisemite holds hostile, […]
Myth: Israel is conducting a genocide
Genocide is the deliberate killing of a group of people from a particular national, religious, or ethnic group with the goal of destroying that group. It defies the imagination to use this term in the context of the Israel-Palestinian conflict. One need only consider the simple facts of the matter. The Palestinian Arab population has […]
Myth: From the river to the sea
This is a chant that refers to the land between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea, which comprises Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza. This chant is heard frequently at anti-Israel protests and rallies. It means that the entirety of the land between the river and the sea will be rid of Jews. It […]
Myth: Israel is ethnically cleansing the land of Arabs
Ethnic cleansing implies a deliberate and systematic effort to remove an ethnic or religious group from a specific area. As a state, Israel has never sought to ethnically cleanse the territory of their Arab citizens. Here are the facts: The Arab population in Israel has increased by 1,296.15% since 1948. Furthermore, the Arab citizens of […]
